AS MLR ANNOUNCES 2020 SEASON CANCELLATION RUGBY ATL’S FOCUS IS TURNED TO SERVING COMMUNITY AND 2021 PREPARATIONS

Major League Rugby (MLR) announced that all remaining 2020 matches are cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 global crisis and the health and safety guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
“We’re disappointed to miss the opportunity to play in front of the tremendous supporter group we have here”, said Rugby ATL Head Coach and General Manager, Scott Lawrence. “At the same time, the love is still in the hard work and we will find other ways to serve the community this year.”
In response to the season cancellation and the onset of the pandemic, Rugby ATL has been taking an active role in creating positive change in our community. Recently we have partnered with Catered Southern Events and Must Ministries tohelp provide resources for the homeless in the Marietta area.
