Rugby ATL signs Ryszard Chadwick as Assistant Coach
Rugby ATL is happy to announce we have signed Ryszard Chadwick as an assistant coach ahead of the 2023 Major League Rugby season.
“I am very pleased to have joined Rugby ATL as their assistant coach for the 2023 MLR season,” Chadwick said. “It is clear that Major League Rugby is growing and is here to stay in the USA. It plays a major part of development for the National Team as well as playing a major part in the development pathways and growing the game overall. Rugby ATL, as we know, already has two great coaches in Steve & Blake as well as their science support staff who all work hard to ensure that they create an environment of growth & performance for the players. I am looking forward to adding value where I can to this already expert team.”
Chadwick, originally from England, holds a Bachelor’s of Science in sports coaching and a Master of Science in coaching from Hartpury College in the U.K. He holds a USA Rugby Level 300 Coaching certification, World Rugby Strength and Conditioning certification, and pending a World Rugby Level 3 certification.
Chadwick has been in the U.S. for 10 years. His previous stops include USA Rugby, World Rugby, the Northeast Rugby Development Academy, New York Athletic Club, and Hartpury College. He also concurrently works as Life University’s women’s rugby head coach and as a coach educator for World Rugby.
