Alex Maughan’s nickname is “Old Man” because, according to him, he’s the oldest 27 year old you’ll ever meet. He started playing rugby at eight years old. The motto of rugby: “Anybody can play, we all essentially do the same thing. Kick, run, and pass,” inspired him since he thinks of himself as a jack-of-all-trades. In college, he was a three-time All-American player, played with the USA select team three times, and won the 2016 National Championship with Life University. He loves to spend time with his two kids, Milly and Maverick, and his wife outside of rugby.
