George Barton, or King George as he’s known on the pitch, is from Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, British Columbia on the west coast of Canada. He’s very passionate about his home, which he describes as a beautiful part of the world. At three years of age, he joined the Cowichan Rugby Club’s Junior Piggy Program, following in the footsteps of his father who played for Canada. He’s made a name for himself as Captain of Canada U20 in 2018 and as a member of the Seattle Seawolves in their back to back Championship seasons from 2018-2019. Barton is a real outdoorsman and enjoys hiking, biking, and working on his family’s 60 acre hobby farm in the offseason.
