Rowan Gouws grew up playing rugby in his native South Africa, where it’s wildly popular. He feels lucky to have had the chance to play professionally for his home country. He played for the Eastern Province Elephants and was proud to be part of Rugby ATL’s debut season, winning the Eastern Conference and heading to the finals! After rugby, he plans to put his business degree to use and work with the family engineering business, run a coffee business, and help his wife open a salon.
