Conor Keys has been playing rugby for 12 years, starting with Barrhaven Scottish and then moving onto the Ottawa Ospreys. He played for the Eastern Ontario representative teams as an under 18, as well as the lower Canada Voyageurs as an under 19. Conor then attended the University of Victoria, where he played for 4 years while he studied. During his studies Conor was selected for the under 20’s Canadian team as well as playing senior men’s rugby for the Atlantic Rock.
After his selection, he received his first Cap for Canada against Chile in the ARC 2017. Conor even spent a season playing in New Zealand with the Burnside Bombers 1st XV in Christchurch, and then signed his first professional rugby contract with the Rotherham Titans in England.
Keys traveled to the 2019 Rugby World Cup and competed as part of the Canadian National Team. He was recently nominated for Rugby Canada’s Men’s 15s Player of the Year.
